“The Velotak bracket has really answered a
major problem I was having with the set up
of my bike prior to competition.
Historically, I would be forced to cut down
my (bike) race number and tape it to my seat
post. Though this would be a temporary
solution to keep the number tag out of my
way, it would take up my valuable time and
leave a sticky glue residue on my frame.
My only other option was to quickly mount my
number on my cross bar, but it would
continually catch the wind and cut up my
legs. This dilemma drove me nuts!
When I was finally introduced to the Velotak
bracket, I must admit, I was a little
hesitant to add anything new to my bike.
Though after racing with it on, I was
totally impressed. The ease of
mounting the race number on my bike without
the scissors or tape was astonishing.
Beyond that, the benefit of not having to
deal with a race number hitting my legs was
well worth the simple. o6 oz addition.
The
bracket was super easy to mount on my seat
post which I did it the morning of the race
in the transition area without worry!
Now I just leave it on my bike at all times
and simply slip my bike race number on just
before competition. I would say the
Velotak bracket is “a must own” for those
who truly care about their bike.”
